Goodtread Auto Group in Alness has been recognised as one of the UK’s Top 100 Tyre Dealers.
The motoring superstore moved into 40th position out of a possible 1,000 companies across the UK, and was ranked at number eight in Scotland, beating centres in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The company based on High Street, Alness is the oldest and largest independent tyre dealership located in the Highlands. It operates locally as a retail centre, but also serves as a wholesale distributor throughout Central Scotland and the Highlands.
Sandy MacKenzie, Managing Director at Goodtread Tyre and Motor Factors, was delighted with the news.
He said: “We are all very pleased to see that the company is continuing to progress in what is a very competitive market.
“Any success is purely down to our customers who have continued to be very supportive over the last 33 years.
“In addition, we are extremely grateful to the consistent effort by loyal, and many long serving employees who continue to make a difference.
“As the Highlands’ oldest and biggest tyre centre we are pleased to be able to pass our massive buying power on to local companies.”
Goodtread stocks over 15,000 products for retail and wholesale distribution including all leading brands at competitive prices including tyres for cars, vans, 4x4s, trucks and tractors.
The company was previously positioned at number 55 in the 2007 Top 100 Tyre Dealers, which is complied by Plimsoll Publishing and is based on an in depth analysis of the industry.
